The MAMA Midwifery Centre has opened in Kensington Melbourne. The first of its kind in Victoria. It offers a unique one-stop shop, where women can have all their antenatal, postnatal visits and lactation day stays with fully qualified Midwives with Medicare rebates available if you have a referral from your GP Obstetrician. They also have a variety of other allied health practitioners there, from Massage therapists trained in Pregnancy & Induction massages, Chiropractic Services (by a trained midwife/Chiropractor), a Midwife/Kinesiologist for Kinesiology Appointments, Counselling, Herbal Medicine, Yoga and Dance for birth classes also available.
